DULUTH (AP) -- A dozen members of the 148th Medical Squadron of the Air National Guard were sent to southwest and southeast Asia.
The 12 were among 20 of the medical squadron sent in November to an Air Force hospital in Florida. They include medical technicians, paramedics, an X-ray technician, a pharmacy technician, a lab worker and an administrative technician.
They left the country during deployments over the past month for Operation Enduring Freedom, said Maj. Paul Kovach of the 148th Fighter Wing, based at Duluth International Airport.
