Free military band concert

Stellar Brass, a spin-off ensemble of the Air Force Band of the Rockies, brings its rousing, patriotic musical performance to Brainerd today, with a 7 p.m. concert in Tornstrom Auditorium at Washington Middle School.
Best of all, the concert is free. Sponsored by The Dispatch, tickets are available at the newspaper's offices, 506 James St.
Folk concert
Claudia Schmidt, one of the country's finest folk singers, will appear in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Nisswa Community Center. Tickets are $10 at the gate only.
Schmidt has been a stellar performer on the folk circuit for many years, an acknowledged leader in the contemporary folk movement.
