"Earth Month" will be celebrated at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Brainerd, with a series of forums concerning a Christian's responsibility toward God's world and environment. Pastor Deborah Celley will present the first forum entitled "Green Theology" at 11:15 a.m. following the 10 a.m. church service Sunday with refreshments served before the forum.

Moms' Night Out
Moms in Touch will sponsor a Moms' Night Out from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday with coffee and fellowship from 9 to 10 p.m. at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter. No registration fee. Child care will not be provided.
There will be country gospel from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Riverside Union Church, eight and a half miles south of the county fairgrounds on County Road 45.
Men of St. Paul's Episcopal
The men of St. Paul's Episcopal Church will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday for breakfast, man talk and morning prayer.
Father John Tulk will be priest at the Sunday services while Father Glenn Derby recovers from surgery.
Redeemed to perform
The gospel music group Redeemed will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cushing Baptist Church. Members of this group come from the Wadena and Leader areas. A freewill offering will be received. A coffee fellowship will follow the concert.
C-I Presbyterian Church
The session of the Crosby-Ironton Presbyterian Church will sponsor an event to focus on the state budget situation through the lense of justice at 7 p.m. Monday at the church. Brian Rusche, executive director of the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition, will be the speaker. A question and answer time will follow the presentation.
First Lutheran spring cantata
The First Lutheran Church senior choir, directed by Marcus Aulie, will offer its spring cantata entitled "Hear Us, Holy Jesus" at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Lenten midweek service
The Lenten service at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd at 7 p.m. Wednesday will center on the theme "Disciples at the Crossroads: Conformed or Transformed." A soup supper will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Freewill offerings are given to the Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen.
