LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Liza Minnelli's 94-year-old stepmother has sued her for elder abuse and breach of contract, claiming the performer has neglected her.
The lawsuit filed Tuesday in Superior Court claims that Lee Anderson Minnelli was guaranteed housing in the will of her late husband, Vincente Minnelli. Liza Minnelli, his daughter with Judy Garland, sold the Beverly Hills home and "has instructed her representatives to remove Lee by whatever means necessary," according to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit also claims that Liza Minnelli failed to comply with an agreement to keep the home in habitable condition. The electricity was shut off March 27 and the gardener and pool man also have been fired, the lawsuit alleges.

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Country music star Marty Stuart has been charged with drunken driving.
Officers stopped the singer early Tuesday morning after receiving a tip that he was intoxicated at a local store, police chief David Key said. Stuart also is charged with violating the Implied Consent Law, because he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test.
The 43-year-old Grammy winner is part of the cast of the Grand Ole Opry radio show. His hits include "Hillbilly Rock" and "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'," a duet with Travis Tritt.
Stuart has a date in General Sessions Court on April 23.
