PEQUOT LAKES -- Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts in Pequot Lakes will present Monroe Crossing, bluegrass musicians, in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Pequot Lakes School Auditorium.

Named in honor of Bill Monroe, the "Father of Bluegrass," Monroe Crossing performs music from the first generation masters, as well as more contemporary and original selections. While each member has been the featured instrumentalist in other bands, the major emphasis is on vocals, with everyone contributing to arranged lead and harmony parts.
