10,000 Lakes Festival slated July 3-5 in DL

Festival seeks to be jazz, blues answer to WE Fest

DETROIT LAKES -- The line-up for the first 10,000 Lakes Festival at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes will include Widespread Panic, the Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule, Leo Kottke and Big WU.

The three-day grassroots music and camping celebration will take place July 3-5.

The 10,000 Lakes Festival hopes to be the jazz, blues and old-time rock answer to WE Fest and the Winnipeg Folk Fest. The Soo Pass Ranch features three outdoor stages, one indoor stage and 10 campgrounds.

Other artists include Leftover Salmon, moe., Galactic, O.A.R., Robert Randolph and The Family Band, Particle, Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, RANA, Topaz, ECHO, Tim Sparks, The Lost Trailers, Mary Cutrufellow, Foggy Bottom and Kung Fu Hippies.
