Thelma Henrietta Rosenberg, age 87, resident of Brainerd, died as beautifully as she lived, Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at her home. Thelma was born Feb. 18, 1918, in Nome, N.D., to Halvor and Julia (Hovde) Lee.
She is survived by her children, Barry Rosenberg, of Coon Rapids, Nancy (Jerry) Falconer, of Longmont, Colo., Sheryl (Roy) Moeller, of Eden Prairie, Mona (John) Aho, of Pillager, Robert Rosenberg, of Mesa, Ariz., Debra (Allan) Jensen, of Apple Valley; grandchildren, Beth Nyberg, Becki May, Bradley Rosenberg, Michele McCaffrey, Craig Falconer, Sara and Benjamin Moeller, Jana and Mike Aho, Scott and Archie Rosenberg and Lene and Peter Jensen; great-grandchildren, Ryan Nyberg, Trevor McCaffrey, Emma May, an expected great-granddaughter, and Jewel and Anika Aho; her sisters, Vivian Rensby, of Valley City, N.D., and Arlene (Alden) Skonseng, of Hackensack and Bonita Springs, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney; and her brothers, Thomas, Harris, Raymond, Vernon and Arnold Lee.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor David Holte officiating. A private family interment service at Evergreen Cemetery will follow the luncheon gathering. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and the hour before services Monday at the church.
