A CRS is a Realtor who has earned certification from the Council of Residential Specialists by completing the rigorous course of advanced training and meeting significant experience requirements.
Only 4.7 percent of Realtors have attained the certificate.

Positive North names top agent for 2003
NISSWA -- Don Monson, a Realtor with Positive North GMAC Real Estate in Nisswa earned the top agent award for fourth quarter and earned the 2003 Top Agent of the Year Award.
The Top Producer award is based on closed transactions and is awarded quarterly to the agent with the highest production in the Nisswa office.
Monson has been a Realtor with the firm for 12 years. He helps people find and sell property and specializes in marketing lake and off-lake homes and cabins, land and commercial listings.
Monson has been a member of the Shrine, Rotary, American Legion and Ducks Unlimited.
Real estate agent creates brochure
NISSWA -- Diane Pogatchnik, a real estate professional with Positive North GMAC Real Estate, created a full-color personal brochure as part of an emerging trend in the real estate industry among top agents to increase the quality of their personal marketing materials to market themselves, as well as the homes they sell or the company they work for.
Pogatchnik contracted with Hobbs/Herder Advertising, Orange County, Calif., to create her customized brochure. The brochure provides the public an idea of what she is like and what her qualifications are to handle their home sale or purchase, she said.
