Those interested in learning how to apply to become a Habitat homeowner or want to serve on a committee are invited to attend. Habitat committees include building, church relations, public relations, fund development and a volunteer committee.
At the meeting, attendees will learn about the Habitat housing ministry, how each of the volunteer committees function and they will receive an update on the current building process.
To qualify to become a Habitat homeowner a family must meet income requirements, have lived in Morrison County for at least one year, have a housing need, be willing to partner with Habitat by performing 300 hours of sweat equity on their home and be able to repay a no-interest mortgage. Members of the Family Relations Committee will be at the meeting to explain the application process, assist in completing the application and answer questions.
For more information call the Habitat for Humanity office at (320) 616-2084.
