Ring double winner in opener

ST. CLOUD - Brainerd Warriors track and field teams combined to win 10 events Saturday in the season-opening Husky Classic in the Halenbeck Fieldhouse on the campus of St. Cloud State University.

Kelsi Ring was a double winner in the girls' event, winning the triple jump and 55-meter hurdles. Hannah McAllister won the 800 run, Megan Holmes the 1600 run and Jenna Dean paced the 3200 run.

In the boys' meet, Brainerd winners were Alex Rahn in the 200 dash, Luke Delaney in the 1600, Tyler Rose in the 3200, Tom Lyscio in the shot put and Ryan Barnes in the high jump.
