Magnet therapy
Joy Minion of Baxter rolled a device called a "mag creator" across the back of Central Lakes College Athletic Director Jane Peterson at Stress Management Day last week on the Brainerd campus of CLC. Minion, who is studying in the personal computer support specialist program, is a wellness consultant for a magnetic therapy producer. The CLC Psychology Club sponsored the event, which also featured "ask the psychologist" and in-chair massages.
CLC class writes grant to host Kinship Kids at Hawaiian party
Monday in the Central Lakes College gym, CLC students in the Leadership II class taught by Jean Mershon will host three hours of fun for a deserving group of youngsters.
CLC criminal justice team among top national finishers

Having just read a letter in the March 25 Open Forum about the 60-80 area residents marching to protest the U.S. occupation of Iraq, it was interesting to consider the author's conclusion that we 60-80 were somehow the only folks opposed to that occupation and therefore the rest of the community is supporting that occupation.
