Gloria J. Strom

LITTLE FALLS -- Gloria J. Strom, 66, Little Falls, died Friday, March 30, 2001, at her home.

She was born April 10, 1934, in Long Prairie, to Joseph and Irene (Mootz) Kris. She lived on a farm near Long Prairie and attended Frog Pond country school. She married Joseph W. Strom Sept. 30, 1951, in Swanville. She lived in Swanville for a short time before moving to Little Falls. She worked at various businesses in Little Falls, including Sanitary Bakery, Crestline Products, Pouliot Designs and United Mailing, Inc. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls.

Survivors include her mother, Little Falls; a daughter Lynn Doege, St. Cloud; two sons, Rodney and Brian Strom, both of St. Cloud; two sisters, Darlene Kroll and Sandra Plante, both of Little Falls; two brothers, Roger Kris, St. Cloud, and Gary Kris, Little Falls; and two grandchildren.

Her husband, father and two sons, Ronald and Lawrence Strom, died earlier.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Sunday with a parish prayer at 5 p.m. and from 8-10:30 a.m. Monday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls.
