CROSBY -- Irene Elizabeth Hunt, 95, Crosby, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at her home.
She was born Oct. 20, 1905, in Watseka, Ill., to David and Avenelle (Adwell) Peddycoart. She married Wallace C. Hunt March 14, 1925, in Bay Lake Township. She was a member of the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood.
Survivors include a son, Robert Hunt, Bangor, Maine; a daughter, Judy Carlson, Ironton; a sister, Ruth Hobert, Litchfield; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Her husband; three sons, Neil, Gilbert (Gib) and Norman Hunt; three sisters, Eva Rutter, Gladys Gray and Lois Peddycoart; and one great grandchild, Hannah Hunt, died earlier.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Crosby with Rev. Wane Souhrada officiating. Burial will be in the Bay Lake Township Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Koop Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church Tuesday.
