John R. Perpich
IRONTON - John Rudolph Perpich, 89, of Ironton died at his home on March 27, 2009.
He was born on July 7, 1919, in Ironton to Steve and Johanna (Virens) Perpich. He was a an Army and Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of the Myrin-James American Legion Post No. 443, Ironton. He was a former Inland Steel employee.

He is survived by his wife Katherine "Katie"; one daughter, Valene Perpich, Sauk Rapids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Louis, Frank and Bill Perpich; and two sisters, Annie Chopp and Elsie Lowder.
Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at the Koop Funeral Home, Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery, Crosby with full military honors. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
