The solution is simple to the Koeps' complaints. Get some earplugs and get on with your lives. My husband's snores could drown out a freight train. I wear earplugs, end of story.

Three cheers for the Koeps. It's time someone stood up to that conceited county bunch. If they take property, they have to pay. I wouldn't blame anyone if they did eat meals as well as sleep away from that awful noise. Maybe critics should try sleeping there. Talk is cheap. Try a little action.

Look ahead

The location of the proposed county garage would be unwise. The airport has no water, sewer, adequate electric. South Crow Wing County Road 45 would be the most efficient, close to Brainerd and the location would be ideal for southern Crow Wing County. Why run the crew for the south area way out to the airport then way back whether it be for salt, sand, snow plowing, road blading, etc.? Think of the price of fuel let alone all the extra miles of unnecessary travel. Let's look 20 or 40 years ahead. Let's not be penny-wise and dollar foolish.
