AITKIN -- Edna L. Boyd, 90, Hazelton Township, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Riverwood Extended Care Unit in Aitkin.
She was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Cutler to William and Nora (Willis) Marsh. She attended schools in Cutler and Aitkin. She married Maynard Boyd on Oct. 5, 1926, at the Aitkin Methodist Parsonage. They lived in Michigan for several months. She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband hauling gravel and farming. She was a member of the Pine Lake United Methodist Chapel.
Survivors include two daughters, Romaine Bonneville and Eva Clark, both of Aitkin; two sons, Glenn Boyd, Aitkin, and Kenneth Boyd, McGregor; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, three sisters, and two brothers, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Aitkin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Marston, the Rev. Larry Foote and the Rev. Allen Clark-Harris officiating. Burial will be in Bennettville Cemetery of Hazelton Township.
Friends may call at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home of Aitkin from 4-7 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m.
