Berge Family to perform two bluegrass concerts

The Berge Family, a four-piece acoustic bluegrass and a cappella group, will perform at 8 p.m. April 4 at the Paul Bunyan Nature Learning Center in Brainerd.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door and are available at Coco Moon in downtown Brainerd and Lakes Music in Pequot Lakes.

The Bemidji-based group consists of husband and wife Ken and Rebecca and daughters Melanie and Mindy. They have been nominated for Midwest Bluegrass Gospel Band of the Year for the past three years. Their three albums include "Jesus Be My Shepherd," "Set Free" and the new release, "He Will Provide."

The Berge Family also will play at 7:30 p.m. April 5 at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
