Kinship Partners still has 54 youths on waiting list Child in Need
Do you like kids? Do you want to make a difference in the life of a child? Are you involved in activities or have a special skill or hobby you would want to share with a child? Have you thought about being a Kinship Partner?
We currently have 54 children on the waiting list who are in need of a mentor. We especially need men and couples or families who would like to be matched with a boy since most of the kids on the waiting list are boys.
Seth is one of the boys on the waiting list. He is 9 years old and he lives in the Crosby area. Seth lives with his mom and sister. His dad is not involved in his life and his mom would like him to have a man to do things with. Seth loves to be outside. He loves 4-wheelers and tractors. He is very enthusiastic and would love to do just about anything. He has been on our waiting list for over a year and is waiting for that right person to come along.
Brett is another boy who has been waiting for a partner for over a year. Brett is 10 years old and goes to Brainerd schools. He lives south of town. Brett likes wood working, swimming and bowling. He would like a partner who could teach him to water ski. Brett's parents are divorced and his father recently moved out of state and his mom thinks having a man to spend time with him is important.
Please call Kinship Partners today, we have kids if you have the time. We just ask that you be able to get together with your partner for a few hours each week and make a year long commitment.
