Fall registration slated to start at CLC

As summer term registration continues, Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples, has set the start of 2009 fall semester online registration for returning students and enrollment opportunities for new students.

The schedule for the earliest returning-student registration: 12:01 a.m. Friday for students with disabilities, TRiO participants and veterans; 12:01 a.m. March 30 for returning students with 48 or more earned credits; 12:01 a.m. March 31 for returning students with 28 or more earned credits; 12:01 a.m. April 1 for all other returning students; 12:01 a.m. April 2 for PSEO students with 32 or more earned credits; and 12:30 p.m. April 2 for PSEO students with 31 or fewer earned credits.

Those students may register online at www.clcmn.edu/registration and click the Online Registration link.

New students also may register for classes online once they have begun the admissions process, which includes payment of the $20 application fee and completing the assessment through the CLC Admissions Office at 855-8037.

EZ Enrollment Days, the streamlined new-student registration process, are scheduled for those preferring to complete the admissions process in a single day on campus. At EZ Enrollment Day, students will be enrolled at Central Lakes College and leave with a class schedule in hand.

EZ Enrollment Days for new students at the Brainerd campus: 9 a.m. April 9 for business/accounting/computers/horticulture/landscape; 9 a.m. April 16, May 28, June 25, July 9, July 23 and Aug. 13 for any program; 9 a.m. April 23 for natural resources/criminal justice; 9 a.m. April 30, dental/any program; 9 a.m. May 7, child development, medical secretary, associate in arts; 9 a.m. June 4, marine and small engine, welding, automotive technology; and 5 p.m. June 11 for any program.

EZ Enrollment Days for the Staples campus: 8:30 a.m. April 7 for heavy equipment; 9 a.m. April 14 for communication art and design/photo imaging/diesel; 9 a.m. April 21 for robotics/drafting/machine trades; 9 a.m. April 28 for heavy equipment; 8:30 a.m. May 5 for heavy equipment/diesel; 3 p.m. May 19, June 16 and Aug. 11 for any program; 9 a.m. May 26 for medical assistant/any program; 9 a.m. July 14 for any program; and 1 p.m. Aug. 18 for any program.

The 2009 summer term is June 8-July 31. The first day of the fall 2009 semester is Aug. 24.
