Aulie wins championship

Brainerd's Ricky Aulie won the 141-pound championship at the Region IV Boxing tournament at the Wadena Armory Saturday.
Wadena had three Golden Gloves Champions in Dustin Comeau, Cody McManigle and T.J. Steward.
They will face the Northern Region IV champions at Palace Casino 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
In other boxing action, Jonas Stumfe, Wadena, lost to Ted Beyl of St. Cloud. Wade Wenaas, Wadena, scored a decision over Kelly VanBuren of Willmar. Shayne Wegscheid, Wadena, scored a decision over Josh Olson of Brainerd.
Aaron Oakland, Wadena, stretched his record to 4-0 with a decision over Lenny Drewlow of Fergus Falls. Detroit Lakes' Josh Collins, the 125-pound unopposed champion, defeated Wadena's Michael Ackerman by decision.
