KLKS gains honorable mention in AP awards

KLKS radio, Breezy Point, won an honorable mention in the 2006 Minnesota Associated Press Broadcasters' awards contest in class one for stations with one or no full-time newsroom employees.
The notable entry by David Allan Pundt was titled "Millie's Birthday."
Imsande retires as personal banker
After 30 years in financial services, Kay Imsande is retiring as a personal banker for Wells Fargo in Brainerd.
An open house to celebrate her career will be from 1- 4 p.m., Thursday at the Brainerd Wells Fargo, 424 W. Washington St.
Imsande joined Wells Fargo in 1996. She has served as a personal banker in Brainerd for the past 10 years.
