One hurt after van hits horse

AITKIN -- One person was injured after a van collided with a horse on Highway 169, 10 miles south of Aitkin.
The accident happened about 1:02 a.m., the State Patrol reported.
Injured was Bonnie Schwoerer, 57, Reedsville, Wis. She was a passenger in a Plymouth van driven by Carl Schwoerer, 59, Reedsville, Wis. Bonnie Schwoerer was treated at Riverwood HealthCare Center in Aitkin and released.
The horse, owned by Peggy Judnitch, did not survive.
