STAPLES -- Beulah Marie Ford, 84, Staples, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Greater Staples Care Center.
She was born Oct. 17, 1915, in Browerville to Ross and Mary (Frank) Sarff. She attended school in the Browerville area. She married Elwin Ford on Oct. 28, 1937, in Motley. They lived near Motley and farmed for several years before moving to Staples in 1950. She worked for the Staples School in the cafeteria for 26 years. She was a member of the Staples Alliance Church and was active in the Alliance Women's Ministry.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Orville Ford, Clearwater; a daughter, Sharon Garland, St. Cloud; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Noble, Veradale, Wash.; and two brothers, Duley Sarff, Idaho, and Harold Sarff, Spokane, Wash.
A son, David, and three sisters, Verta Hoogheem, Delia Woodbridge and Una Carpenter, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Staples Alliance Church with the Rev. Jonathan Wiggins and Pastor Paul Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at Brenny Funeral Chapel of Staples from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and at the church an hour before services Sunday.
