Johnson season champion in WSA

Amanda Johnson of Aitkin piloted her Ski-Doo to first place in the pro women's division of the World Snowmobile Association's Grand Finale Sunday at Lake Geneva, Wis.

In addition, Johnson won the season championship in her division with 279 points.

Cross Lake's Trevor John finished third in pro stock season points with 496 and 10th in pro open with 385 season points.

Fort Ripley's Mike Schultz finished second in semipro open with 419 season points.

In other race results last weekend, Schultz finished second in sport stock.

Lake Shore's Dan Ebert was runner-up in sport stock on an Arctic Cat and ninth in sport open. Baxter's Josh Goble was eighth in the semipro open on a Ski-Doo. Brett Abrahamson of Brainerd was ninth in sport stock.
