LF board announces teachers put on leave

LITTLE FALLS -- The Little Falls School Board Monday voted unanimously to place the following teachers on unrequested leave of absence for the 2004-05 school year:

* Ray Stumpf, middle school industrial technology.

* Jack Marmon, high school social studies.

* Scott Renning, high school English.

* Harold Freyholtz, high school industrial technology.

* Abrah Renning, elementary.

* Tom Riitters, elementary.

* Mary Jo Schultz, elementary.

* Jeremy Stadum, elementary physical education.

* Jaci Fritz, elementary.

* Carol Larson, elementary.

* Jody Boedigheimer, elementary.

On another unanimous vote, the school board terminated and did not renew the following teaching contracts for probation teachers for the 2004-05 school year:

* Jim Solum, middle school physical education.

* Stephanie Marsh, middle school special education.

* Nicole Hedlund, middle school language arts.

* Dwight Ballou, middle school industrial technology.

* Marc Fritz, elementary.

* Rob Pohlman, elementary Title I.

The school board approved the following retirements:

* Mary Larson, high school social studies.

* Jackie Glatzmaier, middle school special education.

* Jeff Doty, high school industrial technology.

The school board approved an extended leave of absence for up to five years for:

* Phyllis Leinen, middle school media specialist.
