Laura McCoy

PINE RIVER -- Laura McCoy, 71, Pine River, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at her home.

She was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Massachusetts to James and Laura (Raymond) Blair. She married Charles McCoy. She was a member of the American Kennel Club.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Catherine Sandberg, Savage, Laura Garten, Jenkins, Charlene Ekeren, Elk River, Marlene Cheshire, Backus, and Melissa Peterson, Pequot Lakes; a son, Charles Jr., Pine River; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

An infant son, an infant daughter and a grandchild died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Pequot Lakes with Pastor Frank Milo officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at Northland Funeral Home of Pine River from 6-8 p.m. Friday and at the church an hour before services Saturday.
