Cooking for a crowd workshop set in Brainerd

Cooking for a crowd takes a lot of planning, preparation techniques, serving techniques and thoughts about keeping leftovers safe.

Learn about cooking for a crowd safely at the Occasional Quantity Cooks Workshop set 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Mississippi Horizons school in Brainerd.

This workshop will help participants plan, prepare and serve food in quantities, as well as teach how to make sure the food is safe. Participants will receive a manual filled with helpful information, tips, charts, recipes and suggestions for serving food to large groups.

Cost of the workshop is $10 per person. Preregistration is required.
