NISSWA -- The Nisswa Fire Department responded about 5 a.m. Monday to a house fire in the 20,000 block of Holman Point Drive in Nisswa.
There was extensive damage to the house, which was unoccupied at the time of the fire, said Nisswa Fire Chief Richard Geike.
No injuries were reported.
The fire appears accidental, Geike said, but the cause remains under investigation by the state fire marshal's office.
The Pequot Lakes and Brainerd fire departments were called for mutual aid to help fight the fire.
