FORT RIPLEY -- Raoul Magnan, husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his home in Fort Ripley March 20, 2004. He was born Sept. 6, 1926, and lived in the Fort Ripley area. He graduated from Brainerd High School, he served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He farmed in the Fort Ripley area and was a retired mail carrier.
