Crosswoods Golf course open

CROSSLAKE -- Crosswoods Golf Course is open for the season, weather permitting.
Crosswoods is the first course in the Brainerd lakes area to open.
"The course appears to have come through the winter in great shape," course manager Mike Stone said. "Our sandy soil has already allowed water to drain through the frostline."
Crosswoods opened another back nine last year and now offers a 6,100-yard, par 71 course. Crosswoods is located on County Road 3, one-half mile north of Reed's Market in Crosslake.
