Donald Swanson, a rural carrier for the Brainerd Post Office, was presented recently with the National Safety Council's "Expert Driver" Award for 20 years of accident free driving. D.A. Rasmussen, Brainerd Postmaster, presented the award.

Sports Craft, Inc. has announced the addition of a new subsidiary which will be involved in the Wholesale Marine and Trailer Sale business. Doug Splady, president of Sports Craft, said that the new subsidiary will be called Sports Complex, Inc.

At the beginning of this year a Children's Choir was organized at St. Paul's Episcopal Church by Mrs. H.R. Howard. The rector, Father Edward G. Barrow, trains the children on Saturday afternoons.

The Brainerd Office of the United States employment service won a leading place on the honor roll of the service in February, showing a 176 percent increase in job placements by comparison with February 1941.
