When is freedom worth fighting for? That's a tough question, because I've always believed fighting and war won't solve our problems. It doesn't prove anything. We have men and women in our country that are willing to sacrifice their lives and families for the sake of our country. I know it's patriotic and heroic, but no matter what the situation is, people are being killed. This is what I've always known and believed, but after the tragic events of Sept. 11, my whole point of view has changed. Our country seems to have no choice but to defend itself. Fighting back seems to be the only answer. If we don't fight we may lose our freedom completely and that would be the worst.
My opinion still stands strong in my mind that war is wrong, but after thousands of innocent people have lost their lives for no apparent reason, it seems imperative that we fight for our freedom.
