Kathleen L. Tucker

LITTLE FALLS -- Kathleen L. Tucker, 99, Little Falls, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.

She was born July 29, 1901, in Long Prairie to Carroll and Grace VanDike. She graduated from Long Prairie High School. She attended Carleton College and graduated from the University of Minnesota. She married Clarence Tucker on June 30, 1924, in Long Prairie. Her husband died Dec. 12, 1982. She taught country school for a few years and operated a four-booth restaurant in Fort Ripley for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita Gibeau, Brainerd; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her husband died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Loren Olson officiating. Burial will be in Fort Ripley Cemetery in Fort Ripley.

Friends may call an hour before services Saturday at the church.
