BACKUS - Sheriff Randy Fisher reported to the Cass County Board Tuesday he expects to be able to begin moving inmates into the Cass wing of the new Crow Wing County jail by May.

President Truman was the first head of state to recognize Israel officially only hours after it was declared an independent country. Later, President Nixon saved Israel from certain defeat in the Yom Kippur War by supplying much needed military hardware when it looked like the war was lost.
