LITTLE FALLS -- Eleanor F. Beck, 86, Little Falls, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
She was born March 1, 1917, in Olivet, S.D., to Henry and Ella (Spindler) Mueller. She attended school in Olivet. She married Oscar Walter in 1934. They lived in Askov where she worked as a waitress at the Askov Cafe. They moved to Little Falls in 1960. Her husband died in 1961. She married Emil Beck in 1962, and they moved back to Askov where she worked in the Askov Bakery. He died in 1997. She lived in Little Falls until her death. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls.
Survivors include a son, Roger Walter, Little Falls; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Elora Oolorg, Olivet.
Her husbands, Oscar and Emil; a son, Dwane Walter; five brothers, Elgin, Elwood, Eldred, Carl and Elisworth; and a sister, Elvira Dummer, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Martin Langemo officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and an hour before services Monday at the church.
