Agent gains national recognition

Randy Ahern, Positive GMAC Real Estate-Brainerd, received his GRI designation.

(GRI) Graduate, REALTOR Institute is the most widely recognized professional designation in real estate sales. This designation demonstrates the agent has taken steps to continue education in the fields of residential construction, appraisal, inspection, real estate investment, technology, ethics and client representation.

To obtain the designation, Realtors must complete the Minnesota REALTOR Institute program, a comprehensive eight-day program consisting of specialized course work and testing. The curriculum represents the common body of knowledge for progressive real estate professionals as defined by the National Association of Realtors Nationwide, approximately 25 percent of all Realtors have earned their GRI designation.
