Lola M. Peterson

SWANVILLE -- Lola M. Peterson, 82, Swanville, formerly of Little Falls, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Swanville to William and Frieda (Rahn) Joseph. She married John Peterson on Feb. 5, 1944, in Swanville. They lived in Little Falls until three years ago when they moved to Swanville. She worked at the Orchid Beauty Shop for 19 years, Larson Boats for 17 years and at Munsingwear as a seamstress.

Survivors include her husband; a son, John Peterson Jr., Swanville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Cora Loven and Helen Starika; and an infant brother, William Joseph, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Martin Langemo officiating. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery in Swanville. Memorials are preferred to Morrison County Hospice.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and an hour before services Friday at the church.
