Miss Millie Moyer, 322 1/2 South 6th Street, was notified last week that a song she had written has been accepted for publication by the Star-Crest Recording Company of Hollywood. Miss Moyer who is 14 has written four or five songs before. "Why Do I Love You?" is the song recorded by the Music Co.

Armon Tuberg has taken over the operation of the Gambles Store here. Mr. Tuberg comes to Brainerd from Hays, Kansas, which store he has managed for the past six years.

Buttoned shoes and buttoned spats are the fashion this year and both make the ankle and instep look very trim and dainty.
