Minnesota Fishing Report

LAKE MILLE LACS

East - Look to Isle Bay, Wahkon Bay, and Cove Bay for crappies in nine to 14 feet. The perch bite has been a bit more inconsistent, although limits continue to be taken. Better areas this week have been South Hennepin Island, Midget Flat, and the Tulibee Hole in 25 to 30 feet.

West - The rocks between Seguchie Point and Brown's Point are producing limits of perch in 27 to 30 feet. Results from the mud flats have been mixed, but the Seven Mile and Seguchie's are producing perch in 30 to 34 feet. Tulibees remain active on the Eight Mile Flat and Seguchie's Flat - these fish are suspended over deep water.

LEECH LAKE

The perch bite continues to impress with good reports coming off Little Stoney Point, Little Hardwoods, Big Hardwoods, and Sand Point. Jigging spoons and minnow heads are turing bigger fish in six to eight feet or 10 to 12 feet of water. Crappies continue to be found suspended in Shingobee Bay over 20 to 30 feet.

BRAINERD/NISSWA AREA

Panfish are hitting on most small lakes and bays. Eurolarvae is producing sunfish in eight to 14 feet, while glow jigs and minnows or Eurolarvae are producing perch over 22 to 36 feet. Lakes worth starting at are Cullen, North Long, and Round.

CROSBY AREA

Sunfish and crappies are biting well in six to 14 feet on most lakes. Anglers are finding the best numbers of panfish on lakes such as East Rabbit, Crooked, Milford, Big Mahnomen, Little Black Hoof, Cedar, and Perry. The morning and evening hours tend to produce bigger fish.

HACKENSACK AREA

Sunfish action has picked up on Pine Mountain Lake and Lindsey Lake in 12 to 14 feet. The best crappie report is coming off Webb Lake in 12 to 15 feet during the evening hours. Lantern Bay on Woman Lake started giving up perch in shallow water.
