If you are a bingo player, you knew right away what I was leading with.

We have a unique bingo opportunity for everyone. On Sunday, April 19, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., the Lakes Area Senior Activity Center will be having quilt bingo. Each bingo winner will have their choice of a quilt. We will have over 35 quilts to choose from. Quilts will be every color, style and size that you can imagine. The coverall quilts are truly works of art. It will not matter if you are an avid bingo player or just looking for a fun family activity for the afternoon.

We'll play seven games of bingo and a coverall game and then take a short break. Then we'll play another seven games and a coverall. Cost will be $5 for 14 games per card and $1 per card for coverall games.

Before bingo there will be a shoe and purse sale. After the bingo event there will be a free lunch for everyone attending. Proceeds benefit the senior center. This event is open to the public, but we have limited seating, so arrive early!

Quilt bingo will be held at the senior center at 803 Kingwood St., Brainerd. Take your chances on having a fun afternoon. Plan on joining us and bring a friend, you won't regret it!
