AITKIN - There will be a spaghetti dinner benefit beginning at 5 p.m. March 24 at the Aitkin VFW for James and Bonnie Parsons.
The Parsons were involved in a serious accident in August. James Parsons recently had his leg amputated because of injuries from the accident. Bonnie Parsons broke her neck and collarbone and shattered her thigh bone.
There will be silent auctions, raffles and other prizes. Some of the silent auction items include Timberwolves tickets, framed and matted prints, hotel stays, Christmas gifts, fishing rods and more.
Those who can't attend the benefit but want to help can send donations to Mona Milloch, 14060 Inglewood Drive, Baxter.
The benefit will be hosted by James and Bonnie Parsons' daughters, Jackie, Leeann, Mona and Karrie (Landmeyer).

NISSWA - The general membership meetings will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Nisswa American Legion.
