Bernice Hallen

HETTINGER, N.D. -- Bernice Hallen, 81, Hettinger, N.D., died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at West River Regional Medical Center of Hettinger.

Survivors include three daughters, Jean Pagel, Hettinger, Betty Rosenberger, Brainerd, and Kay Hessinger, Bismarck, N.D.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Her husband, a daughter, Elberta Zimmerman, two brothers, George and Ole Olson, and a sister, Myrtle Bush, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hettinger Lutheran Church of Hettinger with Pastor Dale Wilford officiating. Burial will be in Hettinger Cemetery. A family service will be 7 p.m. today at Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home of Hettinger. Memorials are preferred to Richland Lutheran Church and Dakota Prairie Hospice.

Friends may call at Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home of Hettinger from 1-7 p.m. today, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, and at the church an hour before services Saturday.
