Lon T. Olson

CROSBY -- Lon T. Olson, 39, Crosby, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, in Perry Lake Township.

He was born Oct. 24, 1960, in Minneapolis to Larrie and Alvina (Green) Olson. He was an Army veteran. He married Joanne Pauline Pettit on July 23, 1988, in Deerwood. He manufactured furniture and ornaments out of all natural material found in area forests and bogs. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Crosby.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Holly Olson, at home; his mother, of Crosby; a brother, Kris Olson, Crosby; and a sister, Charla Langworthy, Richfield.

His father died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Crosby with the Rev. Paul Mattson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery of Emily with full military rites given by the Myrin James American Legion Post 443 of Ironton.

Friends may call at the church an hour before services Saturday.
