Darlene Goerlich

HACKENSACK - Darlene Goerlich, age 78, of Hackensack, and formerly of Pine River, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center, Pine River. She was born Dec. 25, 1929, in Bonhome County, S.D., to Charles and Myrtle Rollins. She married her loving husband, Robert, on June 9, 1965, in South Dakota. They moved to the Pine River area in 1973.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Darla Johnson (Joe), of Pine River, Teri Hadtrath (Steve), of Coon Rapids; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ed Skrypek; granddaughter, Amanda; twin sister, Arlene; sister, Evelyn; brothers, Richard and Clifford.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 17, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with the Rev. David Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Backus. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
