The Salvation Army announced it is still collecting food and dollar donations as part of its March Food Share program. The goal was to collect $30,000 in cash and 30,000 pounds of food. The drive has collected 8,845 pounds and/or dollars. Its goal is 60,000 pounds and/or dollars.
The collection is needed to make sure food is available during the summer months. All donations need to be received by April 4 to count toward the March Food Share. All monetary donations should be marked for "food shelf."
