Euteneuer named to vets board

LITTLE FALLS -- Mel Euteneuer, the retired chief executive officer and administrator of St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, was appointed by Gov. Jesse Ventura to the Minnesota Veterans Homes Board of Directors.

He succeeds Harvey Aaron for a four-year term that expires Jan. 2, 2006.

The board determines policy and considers rules for the Minnesota veterans' homes.

The Little Falls man is a part-time volunteer executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Morrison County.

C-I School Board interviews superintendent candidates

CROSBY -- The Crosby-Ironton School Board was scheduled to meet Thursday and again at 5:30 p.m. today in the high school media center to interview superintendent candidates.

Organizers of the 2002 Crow Wing County Dairy Princess Banquet announced additional sponsors for the 7 p.m. Saturday banquet at the Brainerd National Guard Armory.

Transportation Committee

to meet Tuesday

The Brainerd Transportation Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brainerd City Hall.

County DFL convention

set March 23

The Crow Wing County DFL Convention is set for 9 a.m. March 23 in the media center at Brainerd High School.

County Chair Ed Shaw said anyone interested in the Democratic Party is invited to attend.
