The Crosby-Ironton School Board and the C-I Teachers' Union Negotiation Committee met in a lengthy mediation session Sunday.
As of 8:30 p.m., C-I teachers' union president Stan Nagorski said no progress had been made. Nagorski said the union was prepared to stay in St. Paul until an accord was reached with the school board.
The school board and the union started the session 2 p.m. at the Bureau of Mediation Services in St. Paul.
The teachers' strike began Feb. 9.
Thursday, 80 fourth-graders returned to Cuyuna Range Elementary School, joining kindergarten through third-graders who are being taught by replacement teachers during the teachers' strike.
On Friday C-I Superintendent Linda Lawrie said juniors and seniors are expected to return to Crosby-Ironton High School Wednesday. She said parents were notified Friday.
