St. Patrick's Day parades

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day one day early this year at events in Brainerd and Crosslake.
A St. Patrick's Day parade will be 1 p.m. Saturday in downtown Brainerd.
And Crosslake's 28th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will run 2 p.m. Saturday in downtown Crosslake. Crosslake events will include a costume contest at 1:15 p.m.
Figure skaters
Check out the Vacationland Figure Skating Club's annual Ice Show at 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at the Brainerd Area Civic Center.
Guest skaters will be Anita Hartshorn and Frank Sweiding.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for seniors and students in advance, and $8 for adults and $7 for seniors and students at the door.
