LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Two former actors on television's "America's Most Wanted" pleaded guilty Wednesday to having sex with a 14-year-old girl at an abused children's shelter.
Cristian Saliadarre, 28, and Anthony Alvarez, 27, pleaded guilty to an amended complaint of unlawful sexual intercourse with a person under 16, said prosecutor Melinda Murray.
In return, prosecutors dropped charges of sodomy and oral copulation with a person under 16.
Authorities said the men met the girl in January 2001 while shooting a television segment in an alley next to "Children of the Night," a shelter for sexually abused teens and former prostitutes.
The men were sentenced to five years of probation and a year of counseling, fined $5,000 and ordered to perform 1,000 hours of community service.
