Roger L. Jasmer

ALDRICH -- Roger Lee Jasmer, 61, Aldrich, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at home.

He was born Feb. 17, 1940, near Staples to Art and Irene (Kuhnke) Jasmer. He graduated from Staples High School in 1958. He moved to Minneapolis to work. He married Joretta "Jerry" Arries. After living in North St. Paul for several years, they moved to a farm south of Aldrich in 1974. After many years of working in a variety of mold shops in the area, he started his own shop on the farm which he operated from 1985 until recently.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Daniel Jasmer, Brooten, and Craig Jasmer, New Hope; two daughters, Cathi Dumpprope, Motley, and Ruth Stolhanske, Eagan; nine grandchildren; four brothers; and five sisters.

His parents and a brother, Dennis, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Brenny Funeral Home in Staples with the Rev. Larry Hager officiating.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Brenny Funeral Home in Staples and an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
